Sup Party People. Are you just beginning to become a makeup addict and quickly realizing that this is one expensive habit? If so, you are not alone. Probably in the past couple months I have spent well over $1,000. I do, however, try to find ways to purchase high quality makeup as cheap as possible without buying counterfeit. I am going to share a couple of sites and ways you can get the most bang for your buck.

1. Reward Accounts: Places like Sephora and Ulta give you points for every dollar you spend. Ulta rewards program gives you 1 point for every dollar spent and they tend to have great sells. They tend to have BOGO sale and they send you a coupon in the mail for money off of your purchase. If you sign up for emails there are opportunities to receive 2x, 3x and sometimes 5x points on certain products. You will also receive a birthday gift. Becoming a Platinum member is also a bonus. Spending $450 in a calendar year you will become platinum and this alone earns you points 25% faster. In your birthday month you not only receive a gift BUT you will also receive a $10 coupon. Plus you will get exclusive offers and points earned on either rewards program can be redeemed to purchase products. Sephora rewards aka Beauty Insider are kind of the same. You receive points on purchases made, a birthday gift and free samples. You also get the benefit of attending free beauty classes. There are different levels as well. The next is VIB or Very Important Beauty Insider, same as the first but you also receive first dibs on new products, seasonal VIB gifts, advance access to sales and private events. You do need to spend $350 in a calendar year. Now if you just all out ballin and spend $1000 in a calendar year you will become a VIB Rouge. Not only do you get the benefits of the first two but now you get free 2 day shipping along with other perks.

2. Glambot: I love this site because not only does it sell high end makeup at up to 50% off but if you have some that you wish to get rid of, they will buy if from you. In all honesty, I tend to go to Ulta, Sepora or MAC, try on some foundation, write my shade down, then go to this site to see if they have it and purchase it from there. They tell you the condition of the makeup as well so it's not as though your blind sided on what you are getting. Yes they are reselling the makeup that they received from someone else but why pay full price for something if your not even sure if your going to like it? Check it out and give it a try and if anything else, you know where to sell makeup you no longer want or can't use for what ever reason.

3. Rebate Sites: Ebates is good for any shopping but if you MUST go to MAC then so be it lol. Now they don't have the MAC site but they do have Macy's, Walmart, Ulta, Sephora, Avon (if you like it), Estee Lauder and so on. So even if you do shop online try this site out inorder to get some cash back. I also use MrRebates. Some of their cash backs have a higher percentage and unlike Ebates it gives you money back for beauty.

4. Phone Apps: Now as far as phone apps I use Macari, PoshMark, Wish and PatPat. Marcari and PoshMark not only allow you to buy but you can sell items as well. I like Marcari the most because when you sell there isn't a fee that the site charges. PoshMark they have a lot of high end items like LV and all that fancy stuff that people are selling. It's like having a garage sell but not having to open your house to the public. Anyway, they also sell lots and lots of makeup on those apps but the only thing is you need to ask if it's authentic and you need to make sure you can spot a fake...maybe that will be my next blog. Either way if what you buy is not as described you can get your money back, so you're not at a loss. PatPat and Wish are just apps where they sell items. Not all just makeup but they do tend to sell name brand items at a very low rate. With Wish though they tend to take a while to get them items.

These are mostly the sites and apps that I use to get my money saving on. To get the links simply go to my links page and it'll take you straight to the site. I hope this was informative for some of you that are looking for ways to save money on makeup.
